At Home Blowout With SEVEN haircare

A few weeks ago we were introduced to the world of SEVEN haircare by the lovely ladies at Modest Spot Salon, and we've been experimenting with them every morning since!  This line has so many products that just deliver, and we thought what better way to introduce you to them than to put them to work in a tutorial.

Of course, there's nothing better than sitting in a salon chair and having someone dry and style your hair for you.  What happens when you just don't have time to head to the salon, but your hair needs to catch the fleek train?  It's time for you to grab your dryer and buck up!  With a little practice, and the right products, you'll realize how simple that smooth salon-like volume is to recreate.  Are you ready?  I knew you were!

ONE, wash and condition hair with LUSTER Shampoo & Conditioner.  For those of us who love our product and have colored hair, this set is everything!  I find that most sets make my hair feel soft and dirty, or clean and dry.  Finding clean and soft, is a particularly difficult feat, and LUSTER does just that (clapping hands emoji)!  My hair never feels dull, plus Luster has goji berry extract to promote hair growth, and hydrolyzed keratin protein to reduce damage from chemical treatments. There are a ton of other cool features, but we're already sold.  Anyone have a towel?  It's time to move on...

TWO. Towel dry hair, and spray EXTRA Leave-In Conditioner throughout.  Our hair can always use some extra Argan oil, pro-vitamin B5, and Abyssinian seed oil. More shine and damage control? Yes, please!! Then comb through to distribute evenly.  Although it's jam packed with goodies, this leave-in is pretty light weight.

THREE.  My favorite part!  Once your hair is finally manageable, rub a dime size amount of DIAMOND Serum through your hair.  This serum smells so good, and the texture is amazing! It has to be the macadamia and coconut oils!  This serum is also really buildable, and doesn't weight thin hair down! Start with a dime size amount and build from there.

FOUR.  Rough dry your roots.  This is super key in keeping this project from taking you an hour.  When rough drying your roots, the less natural texture your hair has the longer you can dry here to save time.  If possible use a blow dryer with ion technology to keep your stands smooth and shiny.  This Sedu Beauty has been my go to this year, and it has a switch to turn the ions on.  I love this feature for different hair styles.

FIVE. Separate the top layer of your hair from the bottom, then pin up the top layer too keep it out of the way.   Starting on one side, take one inch sections and dry with a round bristle brush. Wrap hair away from the face.  When section is dry, hold hair wrapped around brush, and twist to let out dropping twist to cool in this position. Continue in one inch pieces wrapping in the same direction until you complete the bottom section.  When complete, let down the top section one half at a time and dry with the same technique, but in the opposite direction.  Complete this until all pieces are dry.

SIX.  When all your hair is dry, and in twists, lift portions that need some volume, and spray underside with DRY Shampoo.  This Dry Shampoo is great for all hair colors, because it doesn't leave any white residue, but adds volume and texture.  When complete comb fingers through hair to brake up twists, and let hair settle into place.  If more shine is desired, feel free to add a bit more DIAMOND serum, this beauty can be used in wet OR dry hair!

SEVEN. Enjoy!
